In a statement, Kevin Marotta, senior vice president of marketing and content strategy at MSG Networks, said, “With our latest themed week offering, we have the opportunity to creatively elevate our coverage and build fan engagement on social media throughout the week. Following the success of our recent ‘Food Week’ in November and ‘Rookie Week’ this past summer, this wellness-themed initiative will allow us to now tap into a new audience and further expand our content focus.”
MSG Networks said that during Rookie Week, overall social metrics for MSG Networks increased by 85 percent year-over-year. Likewise, during Food Week, overall social metrics for the company increased by 63 percent year-over-year.
