Movies Disappear from iTunes Store

If you’re looking to stock your iPod or iPhone with digital copies of movies this holiday season, better act fast: some major flicks from Warner Bros., Universal, and MGM have recently disappeared from the iTunes Store with no explanation, MacUser reports.

Among the movies that were previously for sale and are now gone are Atonement, Charlie Wilson’s War, Eastern Promises, and Michael Clayton. Searches in the iTunes Store now come up empty for these films, although the recommendation engine still recommends similar movies, so apparently all of the underlying data isn’t gone just yet.
