Movember 2013 On Twitter [STATS]
Movember staked its claim on more than just upper lips this year.
The annual worldwide charity event for which men across the globe grow mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness for men’s health issues was a Twitter sensation.
Guess which state had the most Movember 2013 tweets?
According to data from Topsy, the Twitter conversation around Movember was hottest in Minnesota, followed by South Dakota, West Virginia, New Hampshire and Wisconsin.
It’s important to note, however, that although the total number of tweets about the topic was lower in some of those states than in bigger states like California, they took up a proportionately larger slice of the overall Twitter conversation there.
