Motorola’s Android 2.2 Rollout: What a Mess
I’d like to note a correction to PC World’s article before continuing. Jared Newman wrote: [The Droid] does not tether or become a mobile hotspot This is half correct. The Android OS 2.2 update for the original Motoroal Droid does not provide the WiFi hotspot feature. However, it does provide a USB tethering feature.
PC World notes that Froyo’s availability is a hit or miss proposition for the Milestone version of the Droid available outside of the U.S.
