1. Biased professors? — The Hill‘s Managing Editor Bob Cusack has a story out this morning at 5 a.m. on professors who appear in political stories who have donated to President Obama’s reelection effort. Cusack conducted a “months-long” investigation on the subject. The story suggests reporters should ask profs if they have donated to a particular candidate. We learn the professors who donated to Obama and subsequent pro-Obama remarks they’ve made in interviews. Funniest quote: Garrison Nelson from UVM, who donated to Obama this year and has commented favorably on the President, emitted a sarcastic, “Big deal.”
