More Universities Attending Inigral’s School

InigralLogo.jpgInigral has signed up 11 universities as customers for its Schools offering, which uses the Facebook platform and the schools’ networks to create a social-networking platform for potential and current students, as well as alumni, Inside Facebook reported.

Abilene Christian University, Arizona State University and Columbia College Chicago are currently live with Schools, which connects students via dorms, courses, and class notes, clubs, groups and activities and allows users to become fans of dorms, majors and departments, each of which has unique fan pages.

Inigral co-founder and CEO Michael Staton told Inside Facebook:

We’re trying to build something useful that’s durable, that is going to become core to how a university operates, so we’ll create a space for universities to create and engaging spot for their audiences.
