Moonves eyes the sure-thing movie business

Now that daddy Viacom moved out of the house with bratty sister Paramount, CBS Corp. is feeling bold in its new freedom, walking around the house in its underwear and moving into the faux-wood-paneled basement. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that CEO Les Moonves is contemplating making six to eight low-budget movies a year “in a risk-free way.”

That’s like saying he’s going to travel to Vietnam and dabble in the sex trade in a “risk-free way.”
