Monday's 'Special Report with Bret Baier' Earns Second Highest Ratings for 2014
Monday night following Carol Leonnig‘s Washington Post piece that the September 19 White House fence-jumper made it to the East Room of the White House, FOX News Channel’s “Special Report with Bret Baier” posted its second highest rated program of the year with nearly 2.6 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Monday’s broadcast numbers were the program’s second to the July 17 coverage of the Malaysia Airlines plane that was shot down over Ukraine.
“Special Report” had 2,583,000 total viewers and 371,000 in the A25-54 demo Monday night, more than the combined numbers of CNN’s “Situation Room” and MSNBC’s “Politics Nation.”
