Molly Wood Joins New York Times

Molly Wood GThe New York Times has hired Molly Wood as a deputy technology editor for its Business Day section. Wood was a veteran of CNet, having previously worked there for about 13 years. At the Times, Wood will contribute to consumer tech coverage, review products and more.

According to a note from Dean Murphy and Suzanne Spector — the Times’ business editor and technology editor, respectively — Wood will be based in San Francisco and begin at the end of the month.
