Mode Media is shutting down after just 12 years. The digital publisher, formerly known as Glam Media, owned Ning, Mode.com, Mode Video and more.
According to a memo obtained by The Wall Street Journal, Mode had been searching for financing or a company to buy them out for the past five months, but never found either. “We deeply regret having to take this action and we wish we could have provided you with greater notice,” explained the note.
