Facebook Testing Mobile Notifications Promoting Hashtags, Trending Topics?
Following last week’s discovery that Facebook was testing a trending topics module in the upper-right-hand corner of its desktop News Feed in an effort to promote usage of its hashtags feature, that effort has apparently gone mobile, as well.

Reader Magdalena Rogi shared the accompanying screenshot with AllFacebook, which depicts a mobile notification promoting popular hashtag #tbt, which stands for throwback Thursdays, and encouraging users to upload old photos with the #tbt hashtag.
