Mobile Calling in the U.K Falls Dramatically

More mobile news today from Europe–JD Power just released some numbers for the U.K. wireless market.

According to the JD Power’s 2007 UK Mobile Telephone Customer Satisfaction Study, “contract” calls dropped 23 percent, while “pay-as-you-go” calls dropped 28.5 percent. Text messaging has stayed about the same, according to IT Week (a European tech magazine).

With everything that’s going on in the wireless world, it’s jarring to think that its growth could actually level off or fall. Of course it’s inevitable, since markets can’t grow forever, as the DVD industry is finally starting to realize over here in the United States.
