Miss America Hates Wikileaks, Might Be An Idiot
Teresa Scanlan of Nebraska was crowned Miss America on Saturday evening in Las Vegas. During the question category of the pageant, Miss Scanlon was asked about Wikileaks, specifically how to balance people’s right to know with the need for government security? Her rambling response:
You know, when it came to that situation, it was actually based on espionage, and when it comes to the security of our nation we have to focus on security first, and then people’s right to know.
