Mike Francesa To Leave Sunday Night Show Mike'd Up on WNBC

Longtime WFAN afternoon host Mike Francesa is stepping away from his WNBC Sunday night show Mike’d Up.  A WNBC spokeswoman confirms to FishbowlNY that Francesa is leaving the program to spend more time with his children.

In April, Francesa announced he was reducing his Mike’d Up schedule from 36 to 24 weeks for the year.

Francesa began Mike’d Up in 2003.

The spokeswoman says the program is expected to continue with WNBC sports anchor Bruce Beck at the helm. It’s not known, however, if the title will be changed to reflect Francesa’s departure.
