Mike Austin Named Automotive Editor of Popular Mechanics
Mike Austin is joining Popular Mechanics as its automotive editor. Austin most recently served as technical editor for Car and Driver, since 2006. At Popular Mechanics, Austin will manage all automotive content, including reviews, new products and more.
“Mike is a real star in this world, said Jim Meigs, editor-in-chief of Popular Mechanics, in a statement. “He brings years of technical knowledge and testing experience to the table and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”
Austin begins November 26.
