Microsoft, Yahoo! Buzz In on Google Buzz

Not surprisingly, it didn’t take long for reaction to the announcement of Google Buzz to begin pouring in, particularly from Google’s closest competitors.

Microsoft’s statement on Google Buzz:

Busy people don’t want another social network. What they want is the convenience of aggregation. We’ve done that. Hotmail customers have benefited from Microsoft working with Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, and 75 other partners since 2008.

And a long email from Yahoo!, as reported by TechCrunch:
