Microsoft Unveils Dozens of Zune Designs
Microsoft announced that the Zune will now be available in a multitude of new designs in an attempt to give it a foothold—and a real distinguishing feature—against Apple’s iPod juggernaut.
The new designs, available on the company’s Zune customization site called ZuneOriginals.net, include a Zodiac Series that features exclusive artwork of Eastern and Western astrology from Catalina Estrada and Iosefatu Sua.
Consumers can choose artwork and add laser-etched personal text on the site. They’re also adding 12 new designs to the Originals Artist Series, featuring work from graffiti artist Dalek, graphic designer Motomichi, and DJ Daniel Jackson.
