Microsoft Released CTP Version of Visual Basic for Windows Phone 7 App Development
Some may scoff at this announcement.
Visual Basic Comes to Windows Phone 7
But, I’m not one of them. There are a lot of Visual Basic programmers out there. And, Microsoft needs as many developers as possible building apps for Windows Phone 7.
Note, however, that this announcement is for a Community Technology Preview (CTP). So, it can’t be used to produce production apps that can be released. And, Microsoft has not provided an official release date for a tool that can produce production-ready apps.
