Mickie Rosen Tapped to Head Up Yahoo Media Net

Ross Levinsohn, recently installed as Yahoo’s new evp, Americas Region, is dipping into his old Fox Interactive Media team to fill a key executive vacancy.

Mickie Rosen (pictured), formerly head of entertainment at FIM, has been installed as the svp of the Yahoo Media Network, according to AllThingsD.com.

Rosen’s new role is said to be a blend of two recent high-ranking Yahoo executive jobs: that of former audience chief David Ko, who recently jumped to Zynga; and the position held by media vp Jimmy Pitaro, who recently joined Disney Interactive.

Most recently, Rosen was CEO of Best Buy’s price-checking app Tecca, which had received funding from Fuse Capital—Levinsohn’s venture capital firm.
