Mega Heartbreak: California Woman Has 54 Million Reasons to Be Upset at Fresno Bee

Elida Betancourt was under the impression she had just won $54 million after checking the Mega Millions numbers in the Fresno Bee Wednesday. All six of her numbers — 7-12-19-23-31 and 45 — appeared in the newspaper.

But when a family member went to the store to verify the numbers, they discovered the Fresno Bee printed the wrong numbers. Instead of printing Tuesday’s results, the newspaper printed last Friday’s results.
