Mediabistro Presents ‘Boot Camp for Long-Form Journalism’

Want to write something long? Of course you do. But long is hard. Fortunately,, the knight in shining armor to FishbowlLA’s damsel in distress, is offering an eight-week class on long-form journalism. It’s taught by David Hochman, who writes, often lengthily, for Esquire, The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, Harper’s Bazaar, Details, TV Guide, T+L Golf, Outside, Men’s Journal, Food & Wine, and many other publications. Best of all, you’ll come out of the class with a ready-to-publish 2,000-5,000 word narrative. I’ll be taking the class and writing a long-form piece of immersive journalism on my experiences in the class. Because I understand that ‘meta’ is really hot now.

The class begins on Wed., October 19. More info here.
