Media Stocks: The State of the Top 13

If media stocks are any indication, the huge volatility we’ve seen in the market during the financial crisis could be drawing to a close. The vast majority of the top 13 ended the week within spitting distance percentagewise from where they started. Time Warner, the biggest company, was unchanged — probably good news for all those Time Inc. brands. For the first time since we started keeping track, Google changed less than 10 points. The rest of the movement is after the jump.
