Media Frenzy

FBLA presents LA Observed pontificating about the WSJ story about the LAT. Won’t your web site pick up our post and continue the daisy chain?

Media companies bloat. That’s what they do. Sure there are breakups and break offs from time to time. But the LAT generates a quarter of Tribune’s revenue. And if local billionaires really wanted to buy the local paper, they’d be doing so.

Some kind of plan is going to be presented to the board on Thursday.
