Maybe Those Mornings Shows Are All The Same

Virginia Beach hearts Arlington native Katie Couric. The Washington Examiner … not so much. Couric was nominated for Virginia Beach’s Legends Walk, a program which honors notable Virginians. The Examiner reported on the honor this morning, but erroneously noted the Perky One recently left Good Morning America. Just in case you haven’t been paying attention, Couric departed The Today Show for CBS’s Evening News. She’ll reign over the anchor chair beginning this fall.
