Mashable is addressing the growing world of online video by hiring Saba Hamedy as its first digital entertainment reporter. In this new beat, Hamedy will cover the entertainment side of YouTube, Vine, Instagram, Snapchat and more.
Hamedy most recently worked for The Los Angeles Times as an entertainment reporter for its Calendar and Company Town sections. Prior to her time with the LA Times, Hamedy worked for the Arizona Republic, where she was part a Pulitzer Prize-nominated team.
Hamedy will join Mashable at the end of this month.
