Martha Stewart Omnimedia Posts Narrowed Q1 Loss
Martha Stewart Omnimedia, operator of Martha Stewart Living and many other media properties related to Martha Stewart, today reported a first-quarter loss of $3.9 million, up from a loss of $16.8 million in the first-quarter of 2009.
The publishing division registered an operating loss of $1.1 million, a narrower loss than the $1.9 million it lost in the first quarter of 2009. Martha Stewart Living saw a 20% increase in ad pages for its April issue, the company said.
