Marketplace's Wealth & Poverty Desk Staffs Up
Marketplace’s new Wealth & Poverty desk announced four major hires today. Included among them is KPCC business and economy reporter Shereen Meraji and KQED’s Los Angeles bureau chief for California Report, Krissy Clark.
Meraji tells us she’ll be sticking around Los Angeles for her new gig. “I’m excited to tell stories that move the conversation about the wealth gap beyond the numbers 1 and 99.”
Joining Meraji and Clark are former associate producer for Marketplace Morning Report Jolie Puidokas and assistant producer John Ketchum from WCMU in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
