Margaret Russell Named Editor In Chief Of Architectural Digest

Two big changes at Architectural Digest: Margaret Russell has been named editor in chief of Architectural Digest, effective September 7. The magazine’s editorial headquarters will also move from California to New York City.

Russell was formerly vice president, editor in chief of brand content of Elle Decor. In 2003, she was named vice president of Hachette Filipacchi Media. She also saw elledecor.com and the Elle Decor series of books.
