Many Facebook Users Are Unhappy About Suggested Photo Tags

For the past couple weeks we’ve received numerous inquiries from users who were surprised by Facebook’s new facial recognition system which suggests users tag friends. The feature has brought about a number of complaints, the most frequent of which was that the user didn’t want to be tagged in the photo in the first place. However now that the image is shown without any context (just a screenshot of the user’s face), the likelihood that the user gets tagged increases.
