Maine Libraries Adopt eBook Program

The Maine Public Library system has adopted a new eBook program, in which patrons can download eBooks from the library in their own homes.

SeacoastOnline.com reports: “South Berwick Public Library has announced more than 1,400 books spanning best-selling fiction, non-fiction, young adult and children’s content are now available through Maine InfoNet as downloadable eBooks. This is in addition to the ever-growing collection of downloadable audiobooks also available at the site, currently totaling more than 1,800 titles.”
