Magisto Adds Social Mode To Facebook Video App

Magisto, a video-editing application that enables Facebook users to organize their videos into scrapbooks, announced an update to the timeline-enhanced app.

Magisto, a video-editing application that enables Facebook users to organize their videos into scrapbooks, announced an update to the timeline-enhanced app.

Videos created with Magisto are displayed in a special box at the top of Facebook users’ timelines, enabling users to access all of their videos from one destination, rather than having to surf back in time via timeline and search for them.

The new version of the app adds a social mode, which enables Facebook users’ friends to post that they watched and liked videos, leading to more exposure for videos with the most views and likes.

Magisto Vice President of Products Roy Klieger demonstrated the updated Magisto app at Facebook’s Apps & Drinks press event, part of The Next Web Conference in Amsterdam, and Chief Executive Officer Oren Boiman said:
