I wondered what traditional GPS makers were thinking as their first iPhone apps appeared. They were priced somewhat high ($80 to $100) and competed with their hardware products which didn’t cost much more than the app in some cases. Today, however, TomTom’s turn-by-turn GPS app is priced at $49.99 while Navigon’s is $59.99. Magellan’s update iPhone navigation app was just updated and is also priced at a $59.99…
