Magazine Vet Stivers Joins EW.com

Veteran magazine editor Cyndi Stivers has resurfaced at Entertainment Weekly after her recent Web venture BlueEgg failed to take flight. Stivers was named managing editor of EW’s Web site, effective July 1. She will report to Rick Tetzeli, m.e. of EW. Jay Woodruff, who is currently in that job, will return to the magazine as executive editor.

Stivers served as president and editorial director of Time Out New York, developing the magazine’s Web strategy.
