Magazine Ads Up, With People Leading the Pack

The magazine industry is rebounding nicely from a disastrous  2009. Ad pages are up around 4 percent this year from last year, the New York Post reports. Not all that surprisingly, People is leading the charge, boasting 3,304 pages of ads so far this year–up 6.9%. Other gains of note: Fast Company is up 27% while The Atlantic is up 24%. So it’s not just the entertainment/fashion mags that are thriving. Although they’re doing pretty well too.
