Ruzzle Developer MAG Interactive Invests in Delinquent

Swedish gaming studio MAG Interactive announced its investment in U.K.-based studio Delinquent, the leadership of which has experience at PopCap, Electronic Arts, Mind Candy, Activision and more. This move will see MAG Interactive increasing its presence in the world of casual mobile gaming following the success of its word game, Ruzzle, which has been downloaded more than 50 million times.

The 12-person team at Delinquent is set to release its first title during the first quarter of 2015, with MAG Interactive CEO and co-founder Daniel Hasselberg joining the company’s board.

Hasselberg explained the investment decision in a statement:
