Luke Gets Voluminous Shout-Out at Boehner Presser

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has tweaked scribes for anything from their raggedy clothes, bad tie choices and questionable hair cuts to today’s playful jab: loudness.

At today’s Capitol Hill press conference, which aired on C-SPAN, Boehner tweaked NBC’s Congressional correspondent Luke Russert saying, “Why are you so loud all the time?”

A reporter at the presser said most everyone laughed, explaining that other scribes have noted Russert’s propensity for doing what a lot of reporters try to do, which is they shout over one another to get their questions heard.
