Lucky Hires Danielle Pergament as Exec Ed

lucky07082010.pngWomen’s Wear Daily reports that Condé Nast shopping and style magazine Lucky has found a replacement for editor Meredith Rollins ahead of her departure for Hearst’s Redbook. Freelance writer Danielle Pergament is the new executive editor at Lucky. If the cheeky bio on her website is any indication, she’ll bring a certain off-beat flair to the job:

DANIELLE PERGAMENT, Senior VP CEO and Founder of PERGAMENTAL LLC [Ed.: This company does not appear to exist] and majority shareholder and Editorial Director of [Ed.: This website does not appear to exist] is a prominent New York based magazine journalist. Her work has appeared in many postage-stamp sized magazines covers that, when you click on them, turn into bigger magazines that have only one story in them: the story she wrote. Crazy, right? She has covered such topics as: “my honeymoon,” “my honeymoon with Florio,” “style,” “the world” and “hot tubbing with Sachs, two gay guys and a nut job.” She is married to the vegetarian Talmudic scholar Devin “Whitey” Friedman. She is currently at work on a series of books with color-coded spines.
