Los Angeles Press Club Announces Finalists for 53rd SoCal Journalism Awards
Because the Los Angeles Press Club’s annual SoCal Journalism Awards derby is a fee-based endeavor, many outlets and reporters do not participate. This year, per-item entry fees ranged from $40 to $125, depending on applicant membership status and whether the entry came in ahead of an “Early Bird” deadline.
Still, it all goes to support a great, non-profit organization, and the range of local and regional outlets represented remains impressive. You can read the extensive list of finalists here.
