Los Angeles Not So Good For Breathing

The American Lung Association has named L.A. the smoggiest city in America. At least we’re number 1 at something! Even if it’s killing us. The LA Times reports that each year, “California’s dirty air is estimated to cause 19,000 premature deaths, 9,400 hospitalizations and 300,000 respiratory illnesses.”

Wonder how many of the folks lining up this week for the free mobile health clinic at the L.A. Sports Arena were wheezing?
