Looks Like Bubba 'Hightower' Smith May Have OD'd

Oh, Bubba no. Just saw this LA Times report from Wednesday, noting that Bubba Smith, of Police Academy fame (or football star to you old-timers), died of acute drug intoxication. Smith was determined to have large amounts of phentermine, a weight-loss drug, in his system. His heart had swelled to nearly twice normal size by the time of his death. Police had previously said there was nothing suspicious about his passing.
