If hired, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the art department, supervising a team of three designers. You’ll work closely with the photo, editorial, production and copy departments, while aiming to create a consistent, innovative and precise vision for each issue. Other responsibilities include designing editorial pages for all sections of the magazine; conceptualizing packages from start to finish; and overseeing photography or illustration assignments.

To land the position, you’ll need six to eight years of magazine experience, preferably at a women’s title.
