LivingSocial Interviews 20 People A WEEK

LivingSocial is really hiring, to the tune of screening 20 or more candidates in person per week, Business Insider says.

This is after the candidates have already done a phone interview. which means they’re getting a decent number of applications.

According to Business Insider, the candidates are flown in, eat breakfast, and take part in a day of interviews. These are sales positions, so the first interview is to test the candidates’ sales acumen. Then there’s a culture interview, even more important: “”The individual who does the culture interview has veto rights,” HR veep Jennifer Trzepacz told BI.

But at the end of the day, there’s no suspense. The candidates are told whether they got the job.

And as readers of this blog now know, LivingSocial was ranked one of the best places to work in Washington. Feel like applying?
