So last month in LinkedIn’s IPO paperwork, the company admitted that most of its members don’t visit the site on even a monthly basis.
In an attempt to fix that, LinkedIn has launched LinkedIn Today, a news aggregator that chooses stories based on your industry and network.
Silicon Alley Insider said it’s “a lot less work” than Google Reader and “more focused” than Twitter. We just tried it out and it seems to be pretty savvy about what stories we’d like to see…out of 10-12 stories on the homepage, only two were irrelevant–and they weren’t that irrelevant. Is it useful? Yeah. Kind of ugly? Yeah, but they’ll likely fix that. (Screenshot after the jump.)
Would this get you to visit LinkedIn more often?
