LinkedIn Sets Up Shop in Singapore

Singapore will serve as the Asia-Pacific region headquarters for LinkedIn, and its new office there will be led by managing director and vice president, Asia-Pacific and Japan, Arvind Rajan.

Singapore will serve as the Asia-Pacific region headquarters for LinkedIn, and its new office there will be led by managing director and vice president, Asia-Pacific and Japan, Arvind Rajan.

The professional networking site has more than 18 million members in the region, and the Singapore office will also support Australia and India when it opens later in 2011.

LinkedIn said visitors to its site from the region jumped 132 percent in March 2011 compared with March 2010.
