LinkedIn Acquires B2B Ratings/Reviews Site ChoiceVendor

Professional networking site LinkedIn announced its acquisition of ChoiceVendor, which provides ratings and reviews of business-to-business service providers. Financial terms of the transaction were not revealed.

ChoiceVendor is based in San Francisco and was founded by CEO Yan-David Erlich, formerly an entrepreneur in residence at Battery Ventures and founder and CEO of Mogad/Social.IM, and vice president of engineering and former Google engineer Rama Ranganath, both of whom will join LinkedIn.

The ChoiceVendor site has already been shuttered, displaying this message from Erlich and Ranganath:

Today, LinkedIn announced that it has completed its acquisition of ChoiceVendor.

LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner said:
