Letting the Robot Live

Ha. If you happened to read our interview with GM Chairman, Robert Lutz, you might remember him saying about the company’s “Suicidal Robot” tv spot, which premiered during the Super Bowl, “I wish it had ended differently.” Well, either he was feeding us a line about what was to come, or he made it happen, or the critiques of the spot really did force the company cave under pressure, he got his wish:

General Motors says it will edit a commercial about a sad robot jumping off a bridge because complaints were made to a suicide-prevention group.
