Dracula Twins developer Legendo Entertainment has announced the launch of Pure Pinball on iOS, marking a revitalization of the franchise, which was first released on PC and Xbox in 2003 and 2004, respectively. The game has come out of its 10-year hiatus with a new table, and plans to expand throughout 2014.

Pure Pinball on iOS offers HD pinball tables, which Legendo says run steadily at 60 fps. A new T-Rex Savage table takes players to the age of the dinosaurs as a dinosaur hunter, and challenges them with earning as many points as possible before running out of balls.

Pure Pinball offers multiple camera configurations. In addition to standard table overview mode, players can also choose a “ball follow” camera option or “Amiga-style” top-scrolling view. The game supports multi-ball bonuses, with every piece of the game designed, as Legendo says, specifically with Retina-displays in mind.

The game’s AirPlay support allows users to stream the Pure Pinball to their HDTVs via their Apple TV, while Game Center leaderboards offer light social play, as users can compare their high scores against the world’s top players.

Pure Pinball is now available to download for $1.99 on iOS as a universal app. Legendo has announced plans to release additional tables for the game throughout 2014, but no word on pricing of those additional tables has been revealed.
