Lee Harvey Oswald’s Ex is Going on a Book Tour

On the lengthy and varied list of things you want to do before you die, this one goes at the bottom: Donate to Lee Harvey Oswald‘s ex-girlfriend’s book tour. Yes, that Lee Harvey Oswald, the one who assassinated JFK.

The author is Judyth Vary Baker. Her book is called Me & Lee: How I Came to Know, Love and Lose Lee Harvey Oswald. She is scheduled to go on tour in November and December. One piece of news they’re playing up: Baker allegedly spoke with Oswald two days before the assassination. Her final conversation with the murderer is in the book. This is first time the author has been in U.S. in more than five years. She reportedly lives abroad for her safety.

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is apparently a huge fan of the book. In a release he calls it “stunning” and among his favorite top six conspiracy reads.

How Baker met Oswald and eventually became “his lover”…

“In 1963, Ms. Baker attended University of Florida and was involved in advanced cancer research involving radiation and human melanoma cells, especially evaluating the effects of the cancerous SV-40 virus contained in early polio vaccines. In the Spring of 1963, Baker was contacted by Dr. Alton Ochsner, former President of the American Cancer Society and founder of the Ochsner Medical Clinic, to work on a summer project in New Orleans involving the transference of cancer via vaccine and its possible cure. During the course of this internship, Ms. Baker meets Lee Harvey Oswald, who becomes her constant companion, and eventually, her lover. Oswald is also associated with the Oschner project. The cancer research Ms. Baker is working on, she soon learns, is tied to efforts to kill Cuba’s President Fidel Castro, possibly by a tainted cancer-inducing vaccine. Dr. Oschner is a supporter of anti-Communist activities.”
