Lee Glendinning has been named editor of Guardian US. She most recently served as deputy editor of Guardian US.
Glendinning has been with The Guardian since 2006. She previously served as a news editor and reporter in London. Glendinning was also a member of Guardian Australia’s launch team.
“Lee was an integral part of the success of Guardian Australia from the beginning, and has had a similarly dramatic impact on Guardian US, bringing excellent news judgment, digital flair and personal tenacity as well as strong management skills,” The Guardian’s editor in chief, Katharine Viner, said in an announcement.
