Facebook Revamps Layout For Unclaimed Pages

Facebook introduced an updated layout for pages that have not been claimed by page administrators, and the major change is the moving of information across the top of the page, rather than behind tabs on the left-hand side below the page icon.

Facebook introduced an updated layout for pages that have not been claimed by page administrators, and the major change is the moving of information across the top of the page, rather than behind tabs on the left-hand side below the page icon.

Paul Miller alerted sister blog Inside Facebook about the redesign, which includes rejiggered modules such as a map, posts by friends, public photos, and suggestions of similar pages.

According to Inside Facebook, unclaimed pages also now include a local search module, as well as a suggest edits module, with the latter allowing Facebook users to add more information or suggest official pages that the unclaimed pages can be merged with.

Inside Facebook added that some unclaimed pages for businesses also include a module displaying friends who have worked at that business.
